"We first stayed at Bongani Mountain Lodge 15 years ago and returned when we saw it on special over new year. Not much has changed in 15 years. We had a nice time - the food was good and our ranger and tracker were pleasant and informative. I would not rate this lodge as luxury. The room, with a queen size bed, had seen better days and with the thatch roof and poor choice of tiles it always seemed a bit grubby. The game viewing is not great. "The hotel overlooks kruger national park and has a great quite vibe"

"It was a nice hotel, not too big, close to one entrance to the park. The food was good. Trees were beautiful. One can see elephants and other animals from the pool bar. The main problem is that their safaris, or park tours, are too expensive, much more expensive than those organized by the park. But the vehicles are confortable, and drivers nice and helpful."
