“Excellent from start to finish. The room was very clean and felt comfortable, with a delightful view over the garden. We had a couple of drinks in the bar which was nice and relaxing. We later had dinner in the restaurant, with a nice selection of dishes and again a relaxed, comfortable atmosphere. The breakfast was lovely, the wife had boiled eggs and soldiers, they were perfect with nice runny yokes. My full English breakfast was excellent with a perfectly cooked poached egg. “NYE dinner and stay for 2 couples. Excellent. Only issue was with some of the food. Torched mackerel starters were a few pieces of doggy mackerel buried with a load of beetroot. Baked alaskas disappointing presentation and no nuts.”

“Beautiful room loved evening meal unfortunatly I needed to have breakfast at 8 am due to Work commitments but the Chef didn‘t arrive in time so I had to leave about 8.20 am without breakfast ”
