"Over priced and underwhelming. Don't bother. This is a £50 B&B at best charging 3 to 4 star hotel prices. I travel 80% of the time and this one is below par, especially since the owner is on hand and chooses to ignore requests. The location is walking distance from the harbour and restaurants if you're OK walking backnup hills. If you paid half the asking price you could take a taxi. No breakfast either. Mould in the bathroom, tiny shower that takes ages to get to a constant temperature that doesn't burn or freeze you. No iron or ironing boards, so expect to be wrinkly, owner doesn't respond to messages."

"The room was okay, but it seems that they are refurbishing things so they are aware of the need to improve. The hot water for the basin was ideal for running a bath, but the bathtubs hot water probably has a TMV fitted so the hot water wasn’t fantastic. There was a minor problem, but the administration dealt with it promptly, so well done."

"We were greeted by an enthusiastic, very helpful Katie. Our room was a beautiful! It had a rich paneled wall, characteristic of this “posh” 1840s home. The breakfast is made to order with many delicious options available. Both Katie and Tricia were so pleasant and hospitable. Since our cell phone service limited our calls in England, Katie made our dinner reservations and ordered our taxi pick up for us. We had a lovely time here. Mechelle from Mississippi 🌷"

"Dog friendly & the staff are all amazing. Great choice of breakfast options. The room was clean & loved the biscuits each day. Small fridge in the room which was handy & a coffee maker which I didn’t need as they had great coffee at breakfast. Really close to the beach & some lovely walks with the dog close by. The town isn’t too far to walk either. Would definitely stay again"

"Sadly there are lites of negatives: You could write your name in the dust in the bedroom and the bathroom towel rail is thick with dust. The shower head in the bathroom doesn’t stay up. There are no pictures on the walls in any of the rooms and no soft furnishings so it’s unwelcoming and bare. The furniture in the lounge is old and tatty and worn. The walls/skirting boards are dirty and need painting, one of the sofas in the lounge is filthy. The garden furniture is old and tatty and nothing like the picture advertised. The patio doors have no safety stickers on them ( H and S???) which would be high risk to children. The carpet in the hallway is old and tatty and outside needs attention. No toiletries provided and no spare toilet roll. No complimentary tea/coffee/sugar, the only thing provided in the kitchen is an old tub of table salt! All in all we were extremely disappointed and would not recommend to friends or family. Positives - fairly new kitchen and bathrooms that were clean. Fabulous location close to the beach. Parking for 1 car."
