The location was good for walking the town and not needing a vehicle. The hotel itself is older but clean. Not really any amenities. They did offer free bottled water but that was about it. Would stay there again though.

Great location, staff and nearby amenities. Rooms were clean and functional and price was super! I'm note sure what other reviewers were complaining about or experiencing but our stay was wonderful and we would stay again. It's a place to sleep and stay, no Taj Mahal, but price reflects that. Most important, it is clean!! If there was one complaint I would agree with, it is that the rooms are not "quiet". You definitely can hear other guests but if they are respectful, which they were during our stay, it 's nothing turning on the HVAC can't manage. We slept wonderfully on very comfortable beds.

I have stayed at The Andrew several times. The staff are helpful and friendly; rooms are clean and breakfast is included. The surrounding neighborhood has lots of shops and restaurants. It is safe and walkable. The LIRR is literally across the street so it makes accessing Manhattan super easy and convenient. No need to pay crazy NYC prices for a room or deal with the crowds and the noise. The LIRR gets you there quickly.

Stayed here for a quick overnight business stay. It is walking distance to many shops and restaurants (for location deserves 5 stars). Hotel room itself, a bit run down, but clean. The floor smelled heavily of cigarette when I got off the elevator, but luckily, my room didn't.

Others staying in the hotel were loud all hours of the night. Even had someone trying to enter our room at 2am. Tried to use valet parking and was told by the host to park the vehicle myself. The area by the hotel is nice. Plenty of local shops and restaurants. Doubt we'll be back to The Andrew Hotel though.
