It’s clean, it’s affordable, it’s my go to place when I come for a visit which is very often, restaurant across the street and small shopping center. Friendly staff and management.

Decent for work

Got nonsmoking room and opened the door and was slammed in the face with smoke smell. It may not be smoking anymore but it was. Cigarette burns in the comforter. Went to the dollar store and got Lysol spray and wipes. Place was quite and comfortable other than the smoke, dated bathroom, and sandpaper towels. It wasn’t the worst I’ve ever done but probably wouldn’t be back. Front desk lady was very nice and helpful though.

Leaves a lot to be desired

Im going to give my honest opinion. If you in Greenville you already know the town is underserved and impoverished therefore there arent many Name Brand hotels and they couple that exist are like 200 a night for what would normally be 100. That being said, America's Best lobby was clean and neat. The grounds had a fresh paint, the i stay in.106 which was in the interior and lets just say it looked like an old basketball court unkempt and left a lot to be desired, the rooms are tap entry, however the inside smelled like mildew, the bedding was extremely like extremely old, the carpet lets just say i wouldnt walk barefooted. I did but lysol and sprayed everything, like everything. Greenville has brown water so thats that, the toilet flush was stuck. There arent any toiletries. Itis like a floor unit ac. it does have a fridge and microwave, the ironing board was missing the cover and no iron. The towels were hard but im sure thats from the water. the flat scrren was laugable. In short its more likea motel and probably used for in and out as the pirce wad like 60 bucks a night. You certainly get what you pay for. If your budget is tight go for it, however if ever there again. id pay the extra and stay at Holiday Inn express
