โThe hotel is in the middle of a forest we booked it because it said there was a good restaurant.
No! It was closed. According to them due to a party but there was no one else there. We asked if they could recommend a restaurant - after repeated request they suggested one.
They should not take bookings if the restaurant is closed. There is nothing near by. I saw another guest had the same experience - so is the restaurant ever open??? Or just in the announcement to get guests? โ

โExcellent hotel for stay or layover in Hildesheim. Easy and fast checkin with friendly staff. Parkinglot in the back of Hotel (Paid though). Hotel seems new/newly refurbished or very well maintained. The hotel and rooms are very clean and comfortable.โ
