"Awesome spot with awesome breakfast. The big big problem is there are fireworks that go off all night which makes sleeping impossible. I left after one night because sleep was impossible. But the place is really great. Check to see if there is a festival with fireworks before your visit"

Breakfast very good selection. The courtyard garden was especially welcome for rest / relax mid day. 5-8 min walk to the town square. ( several ways to walk there). Lots of parking if needed. "

"Outlets didn’t work on the room. No ATM in the entire resort or for a few blocks around the resort. For the price, the place was extremely disappointing. "

"We stayed 2 weeks in the Villa Franca room, which is HUGE. (Friends stayed in other rooms with mixed results… one is right beside the check in desk. Bed was comfortable. Closet in bathroom offered good storage. Breakfast on rooftop every morning was wonderful. Staff in hotel and restaurant were lovely. Great location close to cathedral. Things to consider: hotel is tricky to get to. Sidewalk turns to stairs that bring you down to the front door. Traffic, church bells and fireworks can be noisy—bring earplugs. There was a light sewage scent in the bathroom."

"I just spent 10 days at Hotel Casamada and have nothing but good things to say about this sweet little hotel! The location is perfect—in a lovely, quiet neighborhood within short walking distance to dozens of excellent restaurants and about a 20-minute walk to the Jardin Allende, and right next door to a tranquil neighborhood park. The room was clean, well-appointed, and comfortable. The bed was super comfortable, the shower was roomy, and there was ample space to unpack and spread out a bit. I loved being able to open the windows and let the morning air in, and the A/C unit and ceiling fan were much appreciated on a few warmer days. And maybe most importantly, the staff here (with a special shout-out to Benjamin!) were absolutely wonderful—friendly, helpful, attentive, and just genuinely great people. One of my favorite hotel stays ever. I wouldn’t consider anywhere else for future trips to SMA!"
