Very clean and comfortable room, and the staff are all pleasant and accommodating. Full breakfast was only $150 pesos, and very tasty. Loved the decor/atmosphere. The only thing I can complain about was the lack of hot water in the sink, but overall my stay was very pleasant.

Toxic-smelling cleaning substance

The room is listed as 1.7 km from center. What's not said is it's up a VERY steep mountain. That made it sometimes unwalkable. We're walkers, but had a back problem. We did walk down one day, but not the Google Maps route which requires multiple long up-down stairways. They clean with some god-awful toxic-smelling stuff that caused me respiratory problems. The Hotels.com price listed is significantly lower than what I was actually charged with somewhat hidden fees etc. so beware of that. The room was small and multiple dogs barked day and night. Other than that, it was a good room. It was "clean" but the cleaning substance seems toxic, especially on the extra blanket we requested. We declined daily cleaning, but the smell drifts in - the bathroom opens to the hallway for example.
