"I literally couldn't believe how inexpensive the price to stay here was. (It probably helped that I booked it at 5PM for that same night, and they probably figured a booked room makes them more money than an empty one.) I joked with my mother that I would likely have my organs harvested in the night. It's clearly an old, tired motel. But it's not in a dangerous or shady area. I met several of the staff members, and they were all exceptionally friendly and helpful. (I couldn't make my TV work, and the guy at the front desk walked down to my room and got it going in 30 seconds.) The room was old and beat up. But everything was meticulously clean, and that's what I care about. Free breakfast in the morning wasn't gourmet, but it was free and included sausage patties, eggs, toast, juice, etc. You shouldn't bring a date here, but if you need a cheap place to crash for the night, it's perfectly fine. Pros: Friendly, helpful staff Clean sheets, clean bathroom Free breakfast Not silent, but not terribly noisy either Great blackout curtains Small fridge and microwave in the room Cons: Both beds in my room were not very comfortable; it wasn't a deal breaker, but they were pretty hard and felt old They used some spice-scented room deodorizer. It wasn't super flowery offensive, but I wasn't a fan. The furniture and walls and flooring and fixtures are long past their best before date. tl;dr: Probably the best value in Niagara Falls"

"This hotel is dated but well maintained. The views are beautiful and they keep the windows very clear so you can enjoy the view. $40 per person for pancakes at an ihop is laughable, but you're paying for the view. The observation deck is a waste of space for them -- their snack bar was not open the entire weekend and it was never utilized unless there was overflow for breakfast. A hack is to go get starbucks and sit in the observation area front and center and enjoy the pricey view without the ridiculous ihop over-pricing."
