“We had a lovely stay at Askot Cottages and were sad to leave! The cottage was very cosy and has been very thoughtfully designed. The bed was very comfortable and we loved the gorgeous view from the big window. We were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights twice while we were there! We also appreciated the small touches, with plenty of tea and coffee for our stay, shampoo, conditioner and shower gel provided.

The shower facilities and restrooms were spotless, and there was always plenty of hot water. The shared lounge, created from a beautifully renovated barn, was an incredibly charming, cozy, and welcoming space where we loved spending time. Inside the tent, the heater and electric blanket kept us perfectly warm throughout our stay, and we never felt cold at all....

“Kind hostess and clean room. Great value for the price.”

“Todo muy bueno”

“We absolutely loved our night in the bubble - so peaceful and the heated mattress was so comfortable! Highly recommend!”

“Would absolutely stay again if in the Selfoss area. Breakfast was sensational, the staff available and personable, the room was excellent. Sadly the weather was not cooperating for a visit to the farm animals.”
