"We prefer staying at an Element over any other hotel if it’s available and reasonably priced when we travel. That being said, this one had a few things that made it more difficult to manage with children than the rest. The first was that they have a heated pool. In Vegas during the summer, a heated pool is generally only attractive to adults who want to sit in it. We ended up having to pay for day passes to another hotel to use their pool during the day. The pool at the Element is not intended for children playing. Second, this Element has a paid chef to make everyone an individual breakfast in the morning. The options included a scramble on weekdays, and pancakes on the weekends. This differs from other Elements because it wasn’t buffet style. If I had been traveling without children, this would have been an attractive option. With children, they were grumpy at having to wait in line, and even more grumpy that this meant fewer choices for food in the morning. Overall, we will likely not be staying here again as a family. If you are traveling solo, and wish to avoid the hustle of other Vegas hotels, this is a great option."
