“Room # 7. Wallpaper hanging off the wall. Door handle needs a tighten up, same for toilet roll holder. Set up for Tea and Coffee needs a revamp. Electricity plugs a bit low for old people with bad backs. Dinner and Breakfast was great. Hot and tasty. I loved the Broccoli and Blue Cheese Soup.”

“Stayed in one of their attached cottages comfortable. Staff were attentive and polite food was very good. Continental breakfast was acceptable. If staying more than one night there is no room service so dishes had to be washed in the hand basin and dried with a bathroom towel.”

“This lovely old pub in the heart of in the Sussex countryside is cosy and welcoming. It's a hotel/inn, pub, and Jamaican-focused restaurant all rolled into one. The welcome was as warm as the Caribbean from hosts Barrie (Jamaican) and Drexie (German), the husband and wife combo running this place. There's a nice garden in the back for summer nights and BBQs. “The property was lovely. We stayed in room 9 as it was located on the ground floor and I use a wheelchair, plenty of room. We had a snack Friday evening and it was lovely food. The staff were very friendly, chatty and accommodating. Easy to find. Definitely will stay here again.”

“Both our showers were filthy with grime, they both didn’t work. My shower had to be replaced completely. It looked like a mouse or a rats nest in bottom draw. The drawer handles were filled with dust and dirt. I mentioned it twice but they didn’t clean it. The station where the milk and coffee is, was empty. The kettle in.
