"We had Heritage Room 4 for a two night stay. Very spacious room and large ensuite. Lots of windows, so lots of fresh air and light. Very clean and comfortable. Bar and restaurant were of a very high standard too. Friendly/polite staff, good range of drinks options and the food was superb. Absolutely recommend this venue for a stay."

"We were visiting for a gig at Piece Hall and are so glad we chose to stay at this absolutely wonderful hotel on the outskirts of Halifax. From the moment we arrived the staff were warm, polite and helpful and this continued for the duration of our stay. As it was such a nice day, we sat in the beautiful garden and enjoyed drinks and food from the bar menu before heading into town for our concert. . Breakfast (extra) was also very good indeed. "We only stayed for one night whilst attending a rugby league match at Odsal stadium just a 15 minute walk away. It was ideal for this and the first time we had stayed and we'd definitely stay again. Other than the room the only facilities we used were the bar for a light meal and drinks which was ok."

"We enjoyed two nights at the Clayton Hotel in Leeds. The staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. The location suited our needs and the onsite, reasonably priced car parking was a big plus. We ate one evening meal at the hotel and it was very tasty. Breakfast was OK but nothing special. The main thing that stops me giving this a higher score was the broken drawer and damaged bathroom door.
