“We had a room overlooking the ground for the 4 days of the Yorkshire v Somerset game. Everything was great about the hotel our room and the view of the cricket was wonderful.”

“Needs better bar, receptionist could serve drinks but not ideal. Breakfast finishes at 9am which is too early.”

“Stayed here with young kids. The staff was so friendly when I had trouble checking in, the lady working the breakfast was friendly and working hard by herself! The room was comfortable, a/c was great, and free parking was nice. A note about the parking: the entrance is off Alma road. Drive up the ramp to the roof, but push in your side mirrors so you don’t scrape them!”

“It was an ok place to stay for a night. The amenities were ok but needs updating especially the bed. The shared bathroom was fine but the door needs replacing asap as there’s no handle on the inside and you have to pull the door by the side to be able to get out. The staff was excellent and friendly and can’t fault them at all!”

“Very conveniently located and well fitted out apartment room with generous courtesy provisions supplied as well. Very handy secure parking in basement for an additional charge. Only minor issues were lack of air con (room gets warm even with windows open on a mid-September day), no microwave and a slightly soft bed. NB Rooms on third floor on Park Place side also overlooked by taller balcony flats opposite.”
