"Wagon was in a lovely location on a farm and owner was very nice, once I managed to find the farm , but checking in time or instructions would have been helpful .
Bed was comfortable and I did appreciate the tea, sugar and milk provided , but the room itself was quite cold -with one tiny inadequate heater .
Bathroom was also very cold and smelled very damp and unfortunately the toilet seat was loose and shooting off to one side.

"Staff were brilliant, rooms have been let go from a maintenance point of view. Food was tasty but very over priced, especially the breakfast. Would have made a complaint if I’d had to pay £18 for that had it not been included with the nights stay. Drinks reasonably priced though."
"The pool area is quite run down, from the raised jacuzzi area that resembles a Chinese takeaway counter to the moss/plant covered central skylight. We stayed in the “village” and you don’t have any climate control like AC etc, the heating came on late one night despite the outside temperature being 25+. Room felt like a tired pre-fabricated holiday chalet from the 1990’s, quite dirty too. The breakfast was good, staff were overall good. If you are wanting to crash with the lads after a game of golf it ticks the box. But it’s miles away from luxury."
"Super friendly staff and great public spaces, great location. What little food I tried at the bar was excellent. The only thing that inconvenienced me a little was the lack of a mini fridge in the room. Mind you, it's an old building. Would come back."
"The information regarding parking is misleading, as the ad suggests that parking is free, or included in the rate charged. The reality on arrival is very different, being presented with a nightly charge which must be paid on arrival. The suggestion that there is a full restaurant service is similarly misleading as, though the kitchen will supply a burger in the evening, which is a meat sandwich, they will not make you a fish finger sandwich, despite that being on the menu, as that is apparently not available after 1600. Several shades of ridiculous. Any hotel that actively refuses to provide what a paying customer demands does not deserve to survive in business. This place, despite the excellence of the other staff (not the kitchen) is now firmly on my “DO NOT STAY” list. Sad and so avoidable."
"I had a lovely stay at Englands Gate Inn coachhouse. the staff were really helpful and were accomodating of my visual impairment. Breakfast was good. the meals were lovely. i'll be back again. the room was also very comfortable and spacious."
