โWe chose this hotel because it was an hour from Santander and just off our main route from Portugal to the ferry port for the UK.
Lovely town with impressive old centre and lovely riverside walks. Lively market the day we arrived (Tuesday).
Be aware that self-parking is actually free on-street parking but area seems very secure so we left most of our extensive contents in car and had no problem.
Also,hotel restaurant non-functioning so sought dinner in town and nowhere open until 9pm. But...
โThis hotel was an overnight stop off between the coast of Asturias and Rioja. It was very affordable. It did not have the charm of the old buildings but everything we could wish for was there. The food was cheap and very good.
The breakfast was enjoyable. The service was good. No complaints. Great Value for moneyโ

Nuestra habitaciรณn tenรญa una cocinita bien equipada con todo ( cafetera, tostadora..) y era bastante amplia para dos adultos y dos niรฑos. Un sitio muy limpio y agradable. Se la recomendarรญa a cualquiera que me preguntase y...

โThis is an excellent property in the Picos de Europa park. The best reason to book this hotel are the hot springs. You get one 40 minute session per night which is very relaxing after a day of hiking. These are natural hot springs flowing from the outside, with many different water massage areas, as well as a sauna, steam room, onsen, whirlpool and cold rinsing pool. They also have along outdoor pool if you want to swim. The second reason is the location. You are between Fuente De and Poncebos....
