Nice restaurants within walking distance from the hotel. Don't forget to ask about "Fred", a free shuttle service provided by the City of Norfolk. We tipped the driver of course; who was a very knowledgeable man extremely good at his job who shared points of interest about the City on our ride.โ
โThe property was well maintained, decor was beautiful, and everyone for the most part was inviting. It was only one person at the front desk later that night that was not inviting. Upon entering after coming from Blue Moon Taphouse, walk through the main door and not once did she acknowledge me with a hello how are you. Outside of that I would returnโ
โIssues with tv not working. Asked for help. No one explained the 2 remotes or how they worked. TV said no signal. It was supposed to be addressed while we were out. Returned to same issue and told we would have to wait until tomorrow. Fortunately I was able to figure out smaller remote that says room control was for the tv. Difficult to navigate but I was able to get something going. โ
โThe hotel was beautiful and well maintained. The staff were very polite with great customer service. We booked through Expedia and were very happy with our booking. Breakfast was very good, and the weight room was very nice. The beds were super comfy and the bathroom was clean. My husband and I enjoyed going for a walk around the nearby lake!โ
โLiked that hostess was accommodating. We had our dog along. They were to replace the sofa bed mattresses yesterday. Concerned how that might be upsetting to our crated dog. She changed us to a room without a sofa bed so they did not need to access our room with the dog. โ
