Great wee hotel in an ideal location

We took a bit of a risk when we booked this hotel as there were no reviews available but it looked clean and spacious and was in a great location. It turned out to be a great decision. The rooms are large, bright and airy and cleaned daily, and the air conditioning is quiet and very powerful. We were only here bed and breakfast and the breakfast was continental style and suited us fine. The bar staff, Alexander and Michael were great, chatty, friendly and funny without bring over bearing, and Elena in the restaurant was a real star, she couldn't do enough and she was always smiling. We didn't need to deal with the staff in reception but they seemed really friendly as well. I would heartily recommend the Greek night they have at their sister hotel. We went as it sounded like an experience, and great value, but it was so much more than that. The food was delicious and the entertainment was great, we all had a fantastic night so it is one to try and book. Kokkini Hani seems to have two parts, either side of the town with shops and restaurants, and this hotel is in the middle so the location means you can easily get to both sides of the town easily.

Zimmertür hatte unten einen Spalt ins Freie, wodurch es nachts sehr kalt wurde. Hotel war beim Checkin verschloss. Es musste erst jemand hinter dem Haus gesucht werden.

Wir hatten das Hotel als letztes für unsere Rundreise in Kreta gebucht. Mit dem Auto ist die Innenstadt in 15 Minuten bequem zu erreichen. Der Strand ist in 3 Minuten Fußweg erreichbar. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Da wir morgens sehr früh abreisen mussten und nicht zur regulären Frühstückszeit essen konnten, hat man uns ein kleines Frühstück mit Kaffee vorgerichtet. Das Hotel ist einfach aber sauber.

Bon rapport qualité prix

L’hotel est proche de l’aéroport, environ 15 minutes. Nous sommes restés une nuit avant notre retour. Le cadre ne fait pas rêver. La chambre était envahie de moucherons. Les chambres sont mal insonorisées, et l’hôtel est juste en dessous du couloir aérien ! Pour le prix et pour une nuit c’est très bien. Mais nous n’y séjournerons pas plus longtemps !

Clean, relaxing and welcoming!

The service staff at this location were excellent and made our stay A+. We never heard the word “no” from anyone to any request or question a guest asked. The atmosphere was relaxing and welcoming. Our only negatives would be that the bed was very firm and the beach area provided no chairs. When asked they did provide extra blankets to use as a mattress topper and we found a beach area with chairs only a few minutes walk down the main road. The pool and deck area were clean and a great place to relax and cool off. The pool bar was great and open long hours for refreshments and snacks etc. We attended the Greek dinner and entertainment evening and had a blast. A great way to experience traditional food and dancing. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely book here again.

Situation idéale pour 1 nuit à l'arrivée ou pour le départ de l'aéroport. La chambre donnée ne correspondait en aucune façon à ce qui est présenté sur les photos (partiellement enterrée en sous-sol avec le bas des fenêtres plus hauts que les yeux). De ce fait, réceptions téléphonique et wifi impossibles. Odeur de renfermé dans le placard qui imprègne les couvertures. Toilettes quasi inutilisables avec problème d'évacuation: une affiche demande de ne pas y jeter le papier toilette. Je suppose que cette chambre sert aux clients de passage pour une étape d'une nuit. Pour le reste, très bien et ambiance très agréable, bon service.

Hotel close to beach

A very central hotel close to a beautiful sandy beach with very clear water. Hotel staff go out of their way to help you. Unfortunately we had a room on the road which was quite noisy. Reasonable breakfast and excellent coffee.
