I was deliberately early as I wanted to see the castle on my arrival day. The staff happily stored my luggage until I returned and was able to check in. A nice touch would have been for my luggage to have forwarded to my room as they knew I had arrived.
Beautifully appointed room and the hotel was clean and lovely.
Staff was helpful and efficient.
Located within walking distance to the train station, shopping and dining and even Himeji Castle.
This hotel is a great location next to Himiji train station - just walk out and 3” walk to hotel;
The rooms are small and dated thus the 4 star review;
Breakfast had enough options, dining room - had a very good dinner;
Public baths are tight with a lot of people using them;
Staff was very polite and helpful;
Perfect place for ur stay in Himeji. The hotel is excellent and comfortable. The facility, for example the sauna is great. Also, the hotel staff is is very friendly and treat ur request likes the ones from their friends or family. Highly recommend.
The checkin process was fantastic, and the baths are great. Our bed was massive! But we soon discovered it was because two full beds were pushed together making the bed disproportionately large for the room. The location was great for visits to the Himeji castle. Dont order the massage but do enjoy the hot baths and cold plunge on level 4.
Great location , very close to JR and Sanyo stations . The rooms are fairly spacious in comparison to typical hotel rooms in Japan and the real value for money . The breakfast is also excellent with a variety of options to choose from . All in all , a great choice if your are in Himeji
Very conveniently located near the train station. A very attractive hotel with a European flair. Comfortable and clean room. Excellent breakfast with great variety. Super value!
The stay was magical, the views were outstanding and the breakfast was delicious. We got our room upgraded for free, I enjoyed watching the Himeji castle at night.
The hotel was super clean and a very good standard. The breakfast was excellent and of a very good standard. My wife had an omelette made for her just like in Kyoto (Kitchi Kitchi). Would recommend this hotel for it's location, food, service and cleanliness.
The staff are extremely professional and helpful. The hotel is a 2 minute walk from the train station and about 15 minutes to Himeji Castle and Kokoen gardens. Shopping all around the train station as well. We were fortunate to get a room with a view of the castle which lights up at night.
Clean room, typical Japanese room size (not too small but not spacious). Convenient location. Parking could be limited even though they said hotel guests have priority. They have additional offsite parking partnerships if parking is full.
They do not allow Tattoos in their public bath
Their breakfast buffet had a lot of different options and was tasty with a fantastic view of Himeji Castle.
Staff was very friendly and helpful
Beautiful and very clean property with a great location, near both the Shinkansen but also the Sanyo-Himeji line. Near lots of shops and restaurants, Lawson’s attached to the building, and a shopping mall very close by. The hotel restaurant was amazing and the included breakfast was nice as well. Rooms are a very good size for 2 with lots of luggage. Will stay again!
Great location to Himeji Castle. Clean and comfort. Staffs are nice.

Solo traveler
This seems to be a newer property and everything was tremendous here for a solo traveler, even the spa room with hot and cold baths and a sauna was great for taking away the exhaustion from a long two days exploring the Himeji area.
