“Wells next the sea is, as always, simply stunning and unique. The Globe Hotel is well situated in a leafy area of Wells. The room was okay, if a little tired, decor wise ie: paintwork needed touching up, but was clean and well stocked with beverages both hot and cold. The bed was a tad uncomfortable for sleeping, it felt like a well used mattress. On the whole the staff were polite and helpful. Breakfast was well presented with a good choice of hot dishes along with continental food.”

“Beautiful property, decorated and appointed to a high standard. Great spot to retire to after a long day exploring the area. Breakfast was spot on and just what we needed to set us up for the next day's adventures too. Sam and her Mum, Carole, were very welcoming and gave us some outstanding tips that made our days out even better. Thank you very much.”

“This B&B is all about the location, which is great, right on the quay, our room even had views of the quay and boats which was a pleasant surprise. Everything is walkable. We parked our car in the Stearmans Yard Car Park and didn't use our car until check out. Plenty of restaurants and pubs within 5-10 minute walk, a little bus behind the B&B takes you to the beach if you don't want to walk, although its £2pp each way!
