TV was unplugged and couldn't get it fixed until the next day, not good , so no TV to wind down after long drive getting to hotel at 4am

I’ll start off with the only positive things I can say. The room was dated, but appeared clean and the front desk staff was friendly. Time for the “it’s ok but I can handle it”. The hotel hallways had a funk that was a mix of musty and flatulent. There are no elevators. The cable is pretty basic. The breakfast is set up just like pre Covid. Pitchers of liquids and turn knob cereal. Now the “I should’ve kept driving”. The mattresses they have are horrendous. It felt like fabric stretched across a chain link fence. It was a terrible night’s sleep. I must say I expected more from a Wyndham property.

Didn't like housekeeping knocking on the door at 10:00 to remind us that checkout is at 11:00 (in a rather insolent voice). Think about what you're saying and how you say it.

For the price and for the relatively remote area it was a great place to stay. Room was clean and smoke free. Included breakfast was better then typical Super 8 breakfast. Fresh biscuits and gravy. If I was in this area again this is where I would stay.

June 11, 2023 I had reserved a room for my daughter at super 8 through hotels.com, when she arrived a young male RUDELY told her that her card was declined. He refused to look at the confirmation number, and you do not get a confirmation number from Hotels.com if your card is declined. Her room was paid for. So she ended up going to red roof inn, which is across the street from super 8, so she was able to spend the night there, which was all good until morning when she checked out, the same young RUDE male from super 8 laughed at her, I was very very disappointed in both motels. I would never sleep in either one of those motels again I would rather sleep in my vehicle. I had to call hotels.com the next morning to see if I could get my money back and they said it was paid for. They did credited back to my card and they were very nice about it. If I could give them stars like they deserve, I would give them -20 stars

Very clean. Comfortable. Friendly. Hot breakfast. Would stay again. Only thing I was unhappy with is there are two deep potholes that were hard to see in the driveway. Everything else was great.

Wouldn’t stay there again
Not great. Check-in was a hassle. Paper-thin walls. Could hear the person in the next room snoring all night (and the cleaning person the next morning having a very loud conversation on the phone before 8 a.m.). The floors were not vacuumed (we found other people’s stuff on the floor when we got there. “Breakfast” was barely anything.

Disappointing stay for weekend getaway
I reserved online through expedia and the check in staff had to exclaim, "I don't know how you reserved but you didn't call here" and did not offer to give me a king size instead of the two beds (less people came with me than expected) and outright lied that she could not offer me more because they were booked. For the rest of the weekend, the parking lot only had about a dozen of cars in parking lot so I know the hotel was not packed full. The bathroom smelled like pee really bad. And the beds were very uncomfortable and could feel the springs on my back. It was a very disappointing stay for a weekend getaway.

For the availability of rooms in the area it was fine. If your use to big city drive to Topeka. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Didn't try the breakfast

We stayed so we could visit the various casinos.
The people who run the place are wonderful. Easy to get along with and smile when they talk to you; but the mattresses on the beds now that is another story - worse mattresses ever - lumpy - lumpy. The bathroom had rust on the shower curtain and on some of the hardware. I know it is a small facility and I hate to complain, but a bathroom has to be clean - smell clean and look clean - and to get people to come back again, the beds have got to be as comfortable as possible .

adequate for the purpose
Clean. Convenient. Had adequate breakfast. No elevator. My sink was plugged up and I got a smoking room (booked a non) so the room was really smelly. But they fixed it all the next day.

Booked this hotel twice for two different visits in a week. The amenities are what I expected for this tier of hotel, but the friendliness of the staff, and their commitment to hospitality were above and beyond. I will stay here every time I am in Holton.

The hotel staff was very friendly, the maid service was excellent, the only bad thing is the smell of stale cigarette smoke.

The room was not cleaned properly. There was a pizza box in the refrig from previous guest. The overall condition of the motel was not very good. I would not stay there again.
