It was beautiful. The rooms are nice and comfortable. The view was amazing. The walk to the beach is easy and very pretty. The staff/owners were so kind and interesting to talk to. We had a lovely time.

AMAZING stay! Highly recommend! From check-in with Michael to taking a walk on the beach via the resort’s private path, everything was wonderful. Our room was spotless, the grounds were meticulously maintained, and the location was perfect—so close to the Spit. And you simply can’t beat the view from our waterfront room!

We loved our stay. Beautiful view. Nice trail down to the private shoreline with firepit and natural log seats. Peaceful quiet stay close to all you could possibly want. Short drive to the spit 😀😀 Owners are super friendly and helpful Amazing place spotless room 😀

this was a delightful location, with beach access that was easily accessible with a short walk. it is a bit of a steep walk and i imagine would get rather slick in wet conditions. the room was clean, simple and comfortable. The staff was stellar and i would definitely stay again and travel with my family here.

The views and location are excellent. The front desk staff was warm and welcoming. The only complaint is that the walls are thin. I was woken from a sound sleep by someone checking into the room next to me at 11:30 in the evening. They were banging things around, making lots of noise, then finally settled down an hour after. Up until then it had been a great stay

Ocean Shores is a wonderful little “mom and pop” motel. The property is very clean and well kept. Rooms are very basic but beds are comfortable. The view is amazing!!!!

Beach view at The Ocean Shores was wonderful. There is a path from the property directly down to the beach. The room was clean with a very comfortable bed. Plenty of towels, a hairdryer and personal sized shampoo and soap in the bathroom. Room includes refrigerator, microwave and single serve coffee maker with coffee packs and condiments. Large picture window provides a great view of the beach, glaciers and mountains. The blind on the picture window is adequate to block light but the light comes through the door curtains and did not block light so we improvised. Located in Old Town Homer and close to some great restaurants. It’s an outstanding accommodation and Mike the host is very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. It’s our new favorite place to stay in Homer!
