We thoroughly enjoyed our two-week stay at Puerta Azul in July 2022. Talia and her staff were always helpful and friendly. Puerta Azul was an ideal place to relax and unwind, as it was located in Sandy Bay away from the busy resorts and cruise ship traffic. We tried several things on the menu at the restaurant during our two week stay and found that everything is prepared with fresh ingredients and looks as good as it tastes. The restaurant staff filled our insulated cups and ice bag with ice every day.
The cleaning staff have the place shining. It always smells clean in the common areas.

I would say that they would need to allow some form of partnership with a taxi company or private service for those who want to be out past 10pm when the shuttle stops. I love that the staff will book excursions for you and allow you to make the most of your experience. I do think there is room for an all inclusive for the guests. Although I still paid separately to try each of the restaurants, I think there should at least be an option.
