"This property is absolutely beautiful!! The only thing I’d change is the length of our stay. We only had one night…I’d have loved to stay a month! Check-in/out was ridiculously easy, suite was clean and so comfy, and the landscape is stunning! For real…pure magic!! Cannot wait to get back to the island for another visit! "Barbara and her team at the Dragonfly Ranch make you feel like family as soon as you arrive. It was such a treat for my birthday getting to spend a full 8 days alongside my husband in this beautiful jungle oasis, filled with meaningful and spiritual conversations, cuddles with the community of loving and therapeutic pets, and lots of laughs. This really is a retreat and sanctuary for the people who embrace it as such, providing a welcome escape from daily distractions and positive healing energy for those who need it - whether they consciously realize it or not. We highly recommend planning for an extended stay here in order to fully enjoy the impact of its caretakers and energy on your mind, body, heart, and soul."

"Kurt and Kana-thank you for everything! We were in Crows Nest room for 7 nights - the room is very comfortable with everything you needed.Amazing ocean view!Delicious and healthy breakfast with fruits direct from the garden-great job Kana!We had the best coffee ever! We highly recommend!!!"

"This property’s location is probably one of the best in the Captain Cooks area, the views from the pool deck are stunning. Sarah’s breakfasts are one of a kind, fresh, healthy and a different taste everyday. At the Luana-Inn you’ll feel like at home, no room service but everything you need is available, just ask. The 2 cabins near the pool need acoustical insulation from the floor above. The Captain cook area is like a jungle, luscious green and beautiful winding roads to get to the property. At night is very dark and the closest place for diner is 30’ away down town so plan to buy before you get back from your excursions if you don't want to drive at night. Every single beach near and far has opportunity for snorkeling but bring proper water shoes. Overall we liked the property but we are pretty easy to please. Highly recommend the boat tours!"

"The room was clean. The staff were amazing. Kelly and Alex are so friendly and accommodating. Picking fruit and collecting macadamia nuts was a fun adventure. The pool was awesome. The dogs were super friendly and my kids loved them. There was no AC, but the room stayed a decent temperature as long as we kept the windows open and the fan going. We were in the Volcano room, so it probably helped that we were downstairs and the sun wasn't ever shining directly in our room."
