“Jane was a very friendly host who made us very welcome. We had our own entrance/exit and a very spacious room with some lovely personal touches. Comfy bed. Great breakfast.”

“Both our showers were filthy with grime, they both didn’t work. My shower had to be replaced completely. It looked like a mouse or a rats nest in bottom draw. The drawer handles were filled with dust and dirt. I mentioned it twice but they didn’t clean it. The station where the milk and coffee is, was empty. The kettle in. “Overall a good stay. But AC off upon arrival and it took 7 hours before the temperature was bearable to sleep (5 pm arrival). Nice atmosphere at the pub with great food and service.”

“Stayed in one of their attached cottages comfortable. Staff were attentive and polite food was very good. Continental breakfast was acceptable. If staying more than one night there is no room service so dishes had to be washed in the hand basin and dried with a bathroom towel.”
