Staff was very nice and the room was exceptionally clean. However some of the flooring had peeled off in a couple of spots so it seems like it requires some maintenance.
The room was super clean and tidy. The staff could not have been more pleasant and helpful. The price was quite reasonable. I couldn't figure out the TV but that's on me. Its location was very convenient for us. Not a Sandals Resort but that's not what we were looking for; our first consideration is always cleanliness and it excelled in that regard. Very pleased with every aspect of our overnight stay.
The building seemed to have been recently renovated and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. Since the well had just been replaced and was awaiting testing, we were asked to not drink the tap water. They supplied us with water bottles to compensate. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My only complaint would be that the outside lights by the door were very bright and stayed on all night. Even with the room darkening curtains closed, the room did not get dark enough for my liking. We would definitely stay there again, though.
This was such a great little inn! Very modern and clean! The ONLY thing I would change is to have an option to shut off the outside light near the door OR have better blackout curtains. If you want a dark room while sleeping it’s almost impossible. That’s my only negative but it wouldn’t keep me from coming back again.
Clean rooms. Basic but nice. Fridge and microwave. Nice mattress, loved that, very comfortable. Nice bright white fluffy towels. Great bathroom toiletries, ie: soap, shampoo etc.
Bad thing. It's a motel, that was about full occupancy, so in the morning, I assume all the other guests used all the hot water. I waited an hour to see if the water heater for the facilities replenish and it didn't. I reported it to the front office. They said it never happened before and I was the only one who mentioned it.
Guess all the other rooms drained the hot water tank.
Other than that incident, it was a great place to lay your head in a rural community.
This is a very nice little motel in Maine. I am only submitting this review because after traveling all day, I don't want to have to solve a rubics cube to get onto the internet. The crazy password to get onto the internet was ridiculous. I had to go down to the office with my computer and have the very helpful lady behind the desk put the password in for my me. The only other criticism I have for the motel, is that the doors only have a lock in the door handle, No deadbolts. I guess it must be a pretty safe part of the world. And yes, I would recommend this as a place to stay.
