Location is central, many bars and restaurants around within a short walk. I did not like the pillows at all. They were so thick I could not use them and ended up making a pillow out of t-shirts and a towel. Any attempt at asking for a replacement at reception was met by a smile from the receptionist who spoke not a word of English. Considering almost all of their customers are foreigners you would think they would employ someone who does.

I like that kind of place. Nothing fancy at good price. In the heart of Hua Hin. Pong was very friendly. Everything was working well. TV, WiFi and clean quiet room.

Basic, But Clean And Comfortable At Great Value

Stayed here for a total of 8 nights in room 15. Initially booked for 3 nights, but decided the room was good enough for a longer stay. The room is spacious. Facilities in the the room included a settee, a fridge, kettle, chair, desk, coffee table and AC unit. The couch is comfortable with seating for 3 people. The bed has a firm mattress, 2 pillows and light duvet. There's a small corridor leading to the bathroom where there's a fridge and wardrobe. The bathroom is all tiled with a sink, toilet, geyser and electric shower unit. Liquid soap, shampoo and conditioner are also provided. The mirror is mounted high up for some reason. Unfortunately, the bathroom floor wasn't designed to direct the water towards the sinkhole. The hotel has a garden area at the back with several tables, benches and sun loungers. Other facilities are reception/dining area where the hotel can also cook some basic Thai meals. Location wise the hotel is in the heart of the foreigners and expat entertainment area. Everything is within walking distance including the beach, cafes, restaurants and bars. The big shopping malls probably require transport though. Overall I had a great stay, although the rooms and facilities are basic It's clean and comfortable. The staff are great. It's hard to complain at this price.

The room i stayed in was a dive. it did not look like the room in the ad's pictured. the room was dirty with bugs. the motel is inside a little red light district with loud music and ladies looking for business. i will not go back but this might be your pie.

You live perfectly in the center of all nightlife just a few hundred meters from the beach. Clean, cheap but it's the nice and kind people who work there that I will remember the most. I'll be back.

Highly recommended, cheap and good.

Amazingly, you live in the entertainment area but are 200 meters away from the sea. Hua Hin has great beaches just to enjoy. At Taphouse you feel at home, good standard and nice staff.

Meget centralt beliggende hotel midt i barområdet tæt på strand og i gå afstand til nightmarket. Togstation er også tæt på, 100 bht i taxi. Trods beliggenheden var der virkelig stille om natten. Virkelig sødt og hjælpsomt personale. Værelset var slidt, men ok og rent. Badeværelset kunne godt trænge til en opfriskning. Vil man gerne bo billigt og centralt er det super. Ejeren har kun haft det 1 år og er i gang med diverse renovationer og forbedringer.

Such a great value

The taphouse is located on a street with many bars w billiards and great night life, even so, the room was quiet at night. I was pleased with the cleanliness and "pool view". Short 5 minute walk to the beach, super close to dining, night market and van station. Enjoyed my weekend here!
