Fab cottage getaway!

My husband and I rented the Cedar cottage for Thanksgiving weekend! It was great! The cottage is spacious, comfortable & completely sanatized. We had a beautiful view of the lake and enjoyed kayaking & sitting by the water enjoying the autumn colours! We loved having a BBQ, outdoor firepit & an indoor fireplace. It was a true "cottage" experience. We hope to return again!

Walker Lake Resort is a beautiful lakeside getaway. Loon calls, pine trees and campfires add to the beauty. Each cabin is tucked between the trees giving you added privacy.

Our stay at walker lake was fantastic! Our cabin (Maple) had a well appointed kitchen and bath with an overall rustic feel with modern upgrades and was extremely clean with a gorgeous view of the lake. The resort is only minutes from the restaurants, golf and quaint downtown of Huntsville and has something for everyone with a great lake for swimming with a huge dock, good fishing with access to a motor boat, badminton/volleyball/basketball courts, enough kayaks, paddle boards and boats for everyone to enjoy some time on the water in whatever fashion they choose. We took out the motor boat a few times and caught a hand full of bass that were delicious dusted in some flour/spices and pan fried in a little butter. The resort managers Toby and Jenny were extremely welcoming and helped us with whatever we needed. We really had a magical week at Walker Lake and will be coming back next year for sure!

We stayed for 4 days at Walker Lake Resort and it was am amazing stay. Jenney amd her husband were very accommodating and helpful and we felt at home durimg our stay. The resor offers a lot of activities like kayaks, canoes, paddles, bbqs, and even a small boat for fishing. The cottage was clean and had all what we needed for our stay. If you want a relaxing getaway, this place is perfect for you.

Stunning property on Walker Lake. Our cottage (Pine) was right on a peninsula by the water, had a bbq and just was completely serene.We were able to use the kayaks/canoes, just a wonderful stay.

Rustic cottage right on the lake

Cottage was basic to say the least but the location on the lake made up for that. New owners very friendly and helpful. Free use of Kayaks sailboards and even 2 small motor boats on site.

Calme au bord de l'eau

Cottage (Maple) spacieux situé au milieu des arbres avec vue sur le lac Walker. Endroit idéal pour se détendre et profiter des nombreux matériels de loisirs mis à disposition. (Canoe, kayak, paddle et bateau à moteur pour ceux qui possèdent un permis). Le lieu dispose d'un espace de baignade où l'eau du lac est claire et à température agréable. L'accueil est chaleureux. A proximité du Parc Algonquin et de la ville de Huntsville (pour le ravitaillement). Séjour particulièrement agréable.

Fantastische plek! Uitzicht op Walker Lake

Ietsjes gedateerd maar juist met veel charme! Vriendelijke eigenaar. Keuken goed uitgerust. Gas BBq buiten. Vrij uitzicht en direct aan meer. Vrij gebruik van kano's en waterfiets en watertrampoline en motorboot.
