โThe rooms are spacious, modern , quiet & very clean. Having a kitchen access to parking is a plus! The staff is friendly and helpful. Hidden gem on Chicago's Northside. Better than a BnB!โ
โLove that is so close to the lake. Neighborhood is great and the parking garage in and out service was very convenient. Our room was nice but this is an old building so keep that in mind. The theme is baseball which was pretty cool. โ
โWe loved this historic hotel. The staff was fantastic. It was clean. They had robes and a full and pretty reasonably-priced minibar and snack selection in the room. Our only issue was that the bathroom light was on a motion sensor that was set on a timer for about 3 minutes, so the lights kept going out when we were showering. Walkable to Wrigley. Great neighborhood. We felt safe. We would stay here again!โ
โWonderful location! Wrigley Field is a three minute walk. Lots of excellent restaurants and bars literally les than 100 steps outside the hotel door. Addison L stop is a seven minute walk. Very walkable neighborhoodโ
โThis is a great boutique hotel in a vibrant neighborhood and within walking distance to the Mag Mile, the river walk, the beach, and old town. Itโs surrounded by shopping and restaurants and is a very safe area. They have a roof top pool and a roof top lounge, which was very nice and fun and had great views. The only downside is that the valet parking is very expensive compared to other hotels, but it was worth it to me. โ
โHad a wonderful stay at the Sofitel with one minor glitch. For a portion of our stay, approximately 24 hours, the AC in the hotel was not working. It was fixed without issue but perhaps we should have been informed that there was a problem rather have us wonder why the room was so warm and the thermostat did not seem to work? Absolutely lovely staff and the common spaces as well as the room was beautiful! โ
