"I was not prepared for the complete reliance on technology/electronics. There did not seem to be any person on site to talk with. Not a bad thing, just new to me. I was a little concerned about my car as the location is off the main road and no person was at a desk"

"The Sunset is amazing and staff were very helpful! The rooms are clean but could use an update, maybe painting the brown panelling white would help bring it out of the 70’s era. Parking can be difficult at times due to restaurant on site. We were woken up at 3 am by a few people, who were having a party directly above our room, it was loud enough that a nearby neighbour came to ask them to be quiet!"

"We only stayed 1 night here but it was excellent for us. We got a corner room on the second floor, 2 queen size beds. Everything was very clean. It is a smaller hotel so not a lot of plugs but it's easy to see if you want to use the coffee maker, you just unplug the the tv. Even with the ferry just a short way down the road it actually was very quiet. If I were in the area again and needed a place to sleep for the night I would stay there again. We went for supper at the ChantMartin down the road which the lobby lady recommended and it was good food as well."

"Very nice place. Not that close to the tourist area but there is a nice park down the street that has an amazing view of the river. I'm not sure I'd want to stay there in the summer as there wasn't air conditioning but there was a fan in the room."

"We loved the view! River felt an arms-length away. Watching the sun go down over the river was was sublime. Bed was comfy, place was spectacularly located… and morning breakfast overlooking the river was spectacular. We’ll be back!"
