“Clean rooms and the staff was wonderful. Breakfast was great plenty to eat.”

“Cannot fault this lovely hotel. Just wanted to comment, to be patient with food order. We arrived at 7.30pm, staff where clearly busy, there was also a wedding in the venue. We where not served our starters until 9pm and deserts till after 10pm with a young family this was obviously not ideal. I must comment all food (apart from veggie option) was very good.”

“I stayed at Preston House last week. Hotels.com didn't send me the details on email as was outlined in the booking. I contacted the owner who was extremely helpful and gave me an upgrade and sent on all the details straight away. The house itself is beautiful and my room was spacious and comfortable and a really lovely place to stay. The owner checked in with me to make sure I got checked in ok and again the following day to make sure I had no problems with my stay. I work in Laois multiple...

“This is a great place to get away. The hosts are amazing! Great shops within 20min and a beautiful property. If going far, take a taxi to the train station, taxis are very expensive.”

“Room furniture very dated and not in very good condition. Limited menu in restaurant Soup Indian curry or sandwich Sandwich one thin slice of ham slice of cheese and about six pieces of onion For a four star Hotel this is totally unacceptable Had to find another restaurant for our second night.”

“The Abraham was a comfortable stay in a self-contained farm cottage. It had everything we needed from a comfortable bed, a good shower, warm heater and washing machine. Sean was a very friendly and helpful landlord with plenty of helpful advice about dinner options and local sites. We had a wonderfully quiet couple of days. ”
