"Had a much better experience at Hapton Inn and Suites a month ago. Check process is bad. Requires you to pay for parking with an app instead of adding it to the room (or including it in the price). Wandered around the first floor looking for the rooms because I wasn't told that first floor rooms were up the elevator. Met another guest who had the same experience. Room was 88 degrees and smelled of wood smoke when I arrived. Didn't cool off for hours. Two of three elevators were down my first day. The hotel is under construction - seems like they should have told me that when I booked. Staff was okay but not as friendly or helpful as I've come to expect from Marriott. "

"After a long day of work we sat down at the bar to eat. We asked the bartender what she likes most on the menu? She replied, "nothing". We asked what if you had to eat here, what would you recommend? "I'd door dash." was her blunt response. We were tired, hungry and the weather was bad. We ate there anyway and the wings were fairly good. When we asked for plates they couldn't provide them. They had no plates?!"

"Room 506 had a heater/ac unit that was crooked on the wall and was very loud when operating. The cabinet below the mini-fridge was chipped badly and contained rotting wood. I’ve had no issue with rooms before, but this one definitely did not make the grade."

"Cockroachs galore. Room was “clean” but the hotel is a dump. Door lock kept malfunctioning. Kind of dangerous. Security is on site which tells you everything about type of area. Hotel front desk person lives on site and is very friendly. We checked out early. Cockroach galore"
