"The rooms were fantastic! Clean, comfy and modern. The beds were extremely comfortable and warm. We loved our in room tea/biscuit upon arrival. The staff was welcoming and knowledgeable. We definitely would stay here again. The one night we had supper in the restaurant was not great. Our soup was heavily salted and bread was cold and bit stale. But to be fair, we came in late and tired. Possibly if we had arrive earlier may have had a better experience. Overall, a great experience 5/5 for the hotel. Will definitely be back."

"Very disappointed as we requested a room with limited steps. Their rooms on the main floor were not available due to a heat issue. We were given an apartment room that had three steps up plus another 7 steps. Our original booking included breakfast but the apartment did not. "

"As we had booked for 4 nights, we did spend a degree of time in the room and unless you sit/lay on the bed the chairs in the room were fine but could be improved to make periods of sitting more comfortable. Not a criticisms just an idea in order to increase the comfortability ofthe room."

"All perfect apart from booking our meal in the evening in the restuarant .I booked the meal the guy in the bar wrote it down but on arrival in the evening the staff had no record of our booking .Eventually we did get a table but i noticed others were turned away for the same reason .What i will say is the restuarant staff were excellent and pulled out all the stops for us .I always tuse the Palace Hotel but this did not go down well .Of course the meal was excellent ."
