Ionian Coast, Italy hotel rooms at the Best Western

We loved our stay in this Masseria. The staff, the room and the premises were outstanding and I must emphasize their breakfast table,which was included in my price, it was amazing and delicious, the staff went all out of their way to please us and make us feel wonderful during our stay!! Beatrice gave us great recommendations for Matera and was very attentive and eager to make us feel welcome. I would recommend this Masseria without hesitation!! Wonderful and beautiful place!!

Clean room, the owner Frank is a very nice person. He provided us a lot of information. Breakfast was nice as well. The road from highway to the property is rough, but once you get there, it’s really a nice place.

Everything was wonderful , well located, spacious room, staff very friendly.

Exceptional!

Our room was done very beautifully and artistically and overlooked the Sassi Barisano for a great view. The bathroom is American sized and the room contained a large closet and cute balcony. It sits on a main piazza just a couple minutes to any of the major sites. Mimmo was an excellent host and even if we said the room didn’t need to be cleaned since we were staying only two nights, he had it cleaned anyway. We enjoyed our stay!

Fantastic experience at Moyseion! The views are incredible and the amenities were great. The staff was super friendly and very informative, helping us make the most of our time. We only wish we had stayed longer. Would definitely return!

I stayed on short notice at Casale di Maria and I couldn't have been happier with my choice. The room was very charming and unique - in one of the historic sassi (cave hewn into the rocks) but with all the modern amenities you could wish for. I had parked a long way away but Walter, the owner, gave me a ride to my car and guided me to a parking spot near the house where I could park without getting a ticket till the next morning. Great location to get from car park to hotel, store luggage then explore Matera on foot. (We saw a number of guests struggling up and down stairs in the Ild Town with large bags.) Hotel was “luxury level” clean!! And very well appointed!!

We were greeted with smiles, and our host was very kind enough to let us check in an hour late. Breakgast was very nice in the morning, and our room was clean and comfortable. When we come back this way, we will stay again!

I rarely leave reviews, however I wanted to brag on Le Tre Vie. Simona was amazing and so so so helpful. We were visiting for a little weekend away after our wedding, and she made it so special for us. The room was beautiful, in a perfect location and so cozy. However, what made the stay special was Simona's care. She helped us to make reservations for a tour as well as 2 dinner reservations. The villa is very nice and close to Matera. Teresa and Antonella are great hostesses. They are very friendly and accommodating. Their breakfast presentation was great. The room was very charming and quiet. Great view.

It is understated how amazing the location is. I cannot imagine a better place to stay. The room was impeccable. Everything was pristine and truly beautiful. The pictures don’t do it justice. Everything felt new. The staff were really helpful. They coordinated parking and check-in. I highly recommend this hotel if you plan to stay in Matera.

We had an amazing stay at the Cenobio Hotel! It can be a bit tricky to find if it's your first time in Matera, and you can't drive directly to the hotel. Plus, there are some steps to navigate both downhill and uphill. Knowing this from other reviews, we contacted the hotel before our arrival. Hotel and golf course stay was great, very out of the way place but staff (Enzo) made it a great stay taking care of everything. Course is in good shape but greens are a bit slow. Course knowledge is key here and my golf app helped a lot. Staff are all great and helpful
