The unit was very clean. If you are staying here for a fishing week, this place would probably be great. It has some docks and looks like a nice place to snorkel on the Gulf side. We were in Islamorada for a wedding. While the unit was extremely clean, there were no counters in the bathroom or a full~sized mirror in the unit. LaJolla is DEFINITELY Old Florida.

We booked the Comfort Room with 2 Queen beds. Upon arrival we discovered the bathroom ceiling height and shower were only 6 feet tall, not standard height. My husband is 6’4”, the shower head only rose to his chest so he could not shower in our room, he had to use the outdoor shower by the pool. The front desk wouldn’t move us even when we offered to pay the difference.
