Overall the hotel was very good. The room was spacious, staff were very helpful and attended to all our requests. The breakfast was open buffet, and it was nice, contained hot and cold breakfast. It was a bit hard to get around the area though as it there was limited public transportation. But overall it was good compared to the other hotels nearby.

Property is extremely convenient to sites of interest. As this is in the old city section the streets are narrow and cobbled. Restorations next door. No disturbances but currently unsightly. Our shower and sink needs service and I alerted the front desk.

The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. We had only a brief overnight stay, checking in late and leaving early, so I can’t speak much to the facilities. But when we checked in at 2am, they were so friendly and quick. When we checked out, we scheduled their driver services to get to the airport, and learned they only take cash that morning! The person working the front desk told us where the nearest atm was in clear directions, and was so kind about the whole thing. He also served us Turkish coffee when we came back and were waiting for the car. Just great staff! Would stay there again if I make my way back :) also, on the way to the atm, we saw many highlights we were hoping to see in the morning, so definitely recommend the location!!!

By far this was the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. I have reviewed Many hotels and restaurants in the past as I book hotels depending on their reviews. The reviews of this hotel did not match the hotel. This hotel in Paris or New York city would have been considered a one star hotel. One of the staff at the front desk was very nice and helpful, we booked a city view room and once we got to our room it was not the same as was shown in the picture and they said the room we are in is much nicer. Well, the room we got was a connecting room as was mentioned, however, 1) The closet doors were missing handles. 2) The bathroom showers were not functioning correctly. 3) The water was changing between very cold and very hot temperature. 4) The room was facing stairs and not city as was booked. 5) The window was right above kitchen exhaust. 6) The AC stopped working sometime at 4:00am and the room became very hot and couldn't turn it back on. 7) The bed did not have top sheets to pull over myself. 8) A part of the flooring was bulged and we kept tripping on it. 9) Bathroom was not clean and there were mold and yellow stuff around the bathtub and sink. 10) Sleep comfort on their mattress and bed was terrible. 11) light fixtures in the room were either missing or falling apart. 12) Floors were sticky and it was clearly not cleaned prior to our arrival as we could see drops of liquid and dirty shoe prints. We had a wonderful experience at the Acra hotel! Location is absolutely perfect, just a short walk from Hagia Sophia, the Blue Mosque, Topkapi Palace and the Grand Bazaar. Plenty of great shops and restaurants nearby. The staff were incredibly professional and always ready to help. Overall, i highly recommand this hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul!

Die Zimmer wurden leider nicht vernünftig sauber gemacht. Das Bad war sehr veraltet und hatte einen sehr starken Geruch. Eines unserer Betten war kaputt. Wir haben es dann mit einem anderen Bett was seitlich im Zimmer stand ausgetauscht. Das hätte den Damen, die das Zimmer sauber machen, definitiv auffallen müssen. Spätestens wenn man das Bett frisch bezieht. Der Fernseher war defekt und wir wurden leider jeden tag aufs neue vertröstet. Bis mein Mann das Kabel gefunden hat, was nicht richtig angeschlossen war. Die Lage ist gut, aber nochmal würden wir uns für dieses Hotel nicht entscheiden.

This hotel is located in Istanbul's most historic neighborhood on a quiet street. The breakfast room is very special: it has been constructed around some ancient ruins and exudes great charm. The breakfast buffet is excellent.

Friendly and welcoming staff. The breakfast at this hotel was very underwhelming, and it was probably the saddest thing about the hotel. The photo of the breakfast on the Expedia website is very misleading and was nothing like that at all. We were initially given a room that had a very smelly bathroom; something wrong with the sewage system I think as the smell was coming out of the drain in the bathroom sink. We reported this to reception who apparently knew about the problem already, but still gave us the room?? We had the room changed the next day. This time, the bathroom in the new room was cleaner and not smelly, however there were ants on the floor lol. In summary, I probably wouldn't stay at this hotel again and I am hesistant to recommend this to anyone for their stay in Istanbul.

È tutto lasciato all improvvisazione: un giorno la colazione è buona, il giorno dopo non c è l addetto e manca metà cibo… è così via … tutto molto “casual”!

Highly recommend! Beautiful, comfortable, and quiet hotel near historic city center! Front desk staff Regep was super helpful booking tickets and taxis. We loved being able to pass by Hagia Sofia & Blue Mosque on our daily walks to the metro, and enjoyed frequent visits to our fav shops in Spice Bazaar nearby. Breakfast was abundant, but a little repetitive, in a beautiful breakfast hall with paintings & archeology of old city. We had a gorgeous window overlooking the sunrise on the Bosphorus water channel.
