Love this part of Istanbul

We absolutely loved the location by Galata Tower. Our cozy room had and amazing view of the tower and was exactly what we needed for this only one nigjt stay in Istanbul . We managed to take hammam recomended by the front desk manager Ibrahim. He was very friendly, professional and helpful. Highly recommend this place :)

Was ok, emailed staff and there was a lag. Was told there would be anniversary amenities that didn’t happen. Personal touches didn’t wow, as was our expectation from other reviews. Hotel is gorgeous, a couple of staff go above and beyond (in the front) the rest seemed inconvenienced and got some unexpected facial expressions. We stayed in the luxury Bosporus view suite on 4th floor.

If you’re thinking about staying at this hotel don’t think twice . Ibrahim the front desk clerk was accommodating and went out of his way to make our stay that much more enjoyable. The staff , food and view and location was 5 star !

Great for those who like antique hotels. The building is historic and elegant. Rooftop restaurant offers great meals and the best view. There’s live music twice a week in the garden restaurant. Great vibe, friendly front seat staff. Wonderful. I will definitely stay there again.

I would stay at this hotel again. I had a wonderful experience. The staff was incredibly friendly and efficient, making the stay even more enjoyable. The location is excellent, situated in a very central area that's convenient for exploring the city. One of the highlights was the rooftop. The views are absolutely breathtaking. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable stay.

We stayed for 4 nights. The hotel is an old building, with loud noises coming from outside and inside. We stayed on the 4th floor and the floor above us was the rooftop breakfast area. Every morning, a lot of noise interrupted our sleep coming from the kitchen and seating areas. The room heating didn’t work and the family had 2 terrible nights. The staff onsite is inexperienced and completely clueless how to help the guests. The breakfast is good. The rooftop views are excellent while enjoying the breakfast. Overall, the value for money is terrible- look for better options to stay. This hotel is everything but luxury. Frankly, it spoiled our vacation in Istanbul, which otherwise was perfect.

The hotel was well located for the type of trip taken. Everything about the hotel was very good, with the exception of the excellent service. All hotel employees encountered were friendly and professional. Of particular note was the outstanding services provided by the front desk staff Some of the best service I've ever experienced at a hotel.

I enjoyed my stay here at this hotel, the hotel is very clean, modern and beautifully decorated inside the rooms. Breakfast was on the rooftop where you have beautiful views of Istanbul and of course galata towers, I would recommend this place to anyone and I would definitely stay here again.

Super hotel with the best view.

The experience at Merodi Barnathan Hotel was the best of the best. The view is amazing, probably the best view of the Galata Tower in town, the personnel is amazing and very friendly, the breakfast is superb and because it was my birthday they kindly left me a cake and a gift at my room that day. I couldn't ask for more in a hotel, when we come back to Turkey we will definitely book here again.
