“A very welcoming place with friendly staff. The room was spacious and had everything that we needed. The food in the restaurant was good and plentiful and well priced. Beautiful location and ideal for walkers in the Ironbridge Gorge”

“Lovely place However, AC was not working and needed to be on when we arrived. Far to hot. When we tiried to turn on, it was broken. A fan was provided, which helped, . But as warmth is insured on arrival during colder days, AC needs the same consideration in the hotter temperatures”

BUT… green light in room not conducive to good sleep, and the fire alarm went off at midnight, after which the excitement seemed to evoke some guests to chat and laugh through the night until 3am, then the same group of four men woke up and continued their frivolities from 5:30am until they left just after 7am. Not the staff’s fault. But the sound proofing is poor.”

Early check-out at 9.30. But check-in was no earlier than 3pm. “Another fantastic stay at Moat House for my parents, who simply won't stay anywhere else when they're visiting the area! The whole team were phenomenal from start to finish. Apologies that we didn't manage to get everyone's names, but Hannah on reception was amazing at check-in, and Kirsty was excellent at check-out. “The building is in a poor state of repair, sad to see. Window frames are crumbling, fixtures are missing or loose, causing erosion of function.”

“The hotel was a bit dated. However it was clean and breakfast was adequate. The spa/ pool was average but clean. The staff were not particularly helpful. A request for a late checkout was immediately met with a response £10 extra charge. When I asked for another towel at the pool, to replace the wet towel, this was denied. Small personal extras could have made this stay feel luxurious but instead it felt like a budget stay.”

“제가 이용해본 호텔중에서 가장 친절하고 좋았습니다. 한국인들이 많이 방문하기 힘든 위치일수도 있으나 울버햄튼 경기 관람을 위하여 방문할 수도 있으니 후기 남깁니다. 울버햄튼역에서 걸어서 20분 택시로는 7분정도 걸립니다. 걸어서도 충분히 갈 수 있으나 택시로 가는 것을 추천드리며 몰리뉴경기장까지는 걸어서 10분 걸립니다. 숙소내에 냉장고가 없어서 매일 물을 마시는 분들께는 들어가기 전에 물을 사가는 것을 추천해드립니다. 엘리베이터가 없으나 로비에서 직원이 함께 짐을 옮겨주셔서 큰 무리가 없었습니다. 일하시는 모두가 친절하며 숙소가 매우 깨끗합니다. 또한 매일 아침메뉴를 고르고 아침식사가 가능한데 영국와서 먹은 영국식 아침 중에서 가장 맛있었습니다. 숙소 앞 공원 또한 매우 예쁘며 한적한 울버햄튼이라는 도시를 느낄 수 있어서 좋았습니다. 덕분에 즐거운 여행이 되었습니다. 감사합니다”

“The property is 400 yrs old so expect things to be uneven. The current owners have only been there a few years so maybe they still have work to do. The bedrooms are described on the website as "stylish "....I would say plain. The bedding was clean, bathroom ok but it was difficult to get the shower to the right temperature...it was either boiling or cold. Room 5 had a frosted window but it was hot so we had it open. The room could do with a slight update....e.g. more plug sockets and a bigger...
