"Amazing location right on the beach with great restaurants near by.
We had no power for 24hours which also meant no water pressure (impossible to shower). this hotel did not have a generator "
"Very friendly and professional staff. The location is great and the food is excellent.
The only downside is advertising a gym when in actual fact there is only a yoga instructor. A bit disappointing "
"Room was beautiful as well resort was stunning.
It was perfect stop in our honeymoon trip trough Zanzibar
Staff is friendly and helpful.
It is 5min from Paje but so much more beautiful then hotels/resorts there
Highly recommend...and we will come back"
"Our stay at the Passion Boutique Hotel was super fantastic. It could not have been better. We loved the location and the pool. Our room was delightful and had everything we needed (and some things we didn't know we needed like the ice machine!)
We ate all our meals during our three day stay in the hotel's restaurant. All the meals were great but some were just outstanding. I had some of the best dinners I have had in a long time. Delicious!
Madelina and her staff do an amazing job making sure everything goes smoothly. They are always checking to see that you are doing well. The wait staff are all lovely and display the right amount of amusing. Madelina helped me when I had booked flights for a very inconvenient time. Thank you.
We highly recommend this Hotel and wish we could go back more often. However, it is approximately 15,000 kilometers away from our house. "
"Brilliant holiday,so relaxing, have been looked after at hotel and all staff lovely, like being a brother here, will definitely return, best holiday ive had "
"would stay here again. Overall, the hotel was clean and well-maintained, and I appreciated that aspect of my stay. However, the biggest issue I experienced was the strong smell coming from the toilets, almost as if the sewage system wasn’t working properly. It was unpleasant and made the stay uncomfortable at times. Maybe it was just our room. "
"Just returned from an amazing 10 day holiday at the Blue Reef Bungalows. The location is great, right on the beach front. The bungalow is basic but has a comfortable bed and everything you need with the bar and breakfast restaurant literally a few steps away.
The food in the Blue Reef restaurant is varied and really tasty and the pizzas at the bungalows are also excellent.
The beach is stunning, however you do get pestered constantly by the sellers which got very tiring by the end (the cashew nuts are so good!). When the tide is out you can walk for about a mile across the beach and still have water below waist height and it is the most beautiful turquoise sea.
What really makes it special are the staff - Simba, Wilhemina and Evelyn at the bungalows and Emannuel in the Blue Reef restaurant, the bar boys and Roby are fantastic. So friendly and looked after us so well with an enthusiastic welcome every single time we saw them (and delicious cocktails!)
Would highly recommend if you want great staff, a beautiful beach and to experience local life.
