"Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. They went out of their way to make sure you were happy. The hotel was clean and the pool quiet and beautiful. Beach access was great and the view from our room was stunning. It was a great place to relax after climbing Kilimanjaro! Only issue was limited range of food, particularly for vegetarians. "

They remembered me, cared for me, and made me feel genuinely special through the smallest, most meaningful gestures from offering me fresh passion fruit when I simply asked to take a photo of it, to inviting me behind the bar to show me how their fresh juice is made. The sunrises and sunsets were absolutely breathtaking some of the most beautiful moments I experienced in Zanzibar. One of the highlights of my stay was requesting an off-menu dish: ugali. The chef personally came out to ask how I liked the meal, which turned out to be the most delicious food I’ve had since arriving in Tanzania. My time in Zanzibar and especially at Blue Reef was pure magic. I’m beyond grateful for the warmth, hospitality, and unforgettable memories, and I cannot wait to return with my family."

"Our stay at the Passion Boutique Hotel was super fantastic. It could not have been better. We loved the location and the pool. Our room was delightful and had everything we needed (and some things we didn't know we needed like the ice machine!) We ate all our meals during our three day stay in the hotel's restaurant. All the meals were great but some were just outstanding. I had some of the best dinners I have had in a long time. Delicious! Madelina and her staff do an amazing job making sure everything goes smoothly. They are always checking to see that you are doing well. The wait staff are all lovely and display the right amount of amusing. Madelina helped me when I had booked flights for a very inconvenient time. Thank you. We highly recommend this Hotel and wish we could go back more often. However, it is approximately 15,000 kilometers away from our house. "
