"It was nice"

"Great stay for our visit to Sedona. I always prefer a place with a kitchen, and this was a superb option. The hotel is on a golf course, which was really pretty and expensive. Very quiet, very few children. 20 minutes to Sedona, and just a 5 minute drive from cottonwood. For us, it was perfect since we didn't want to be right in downtown tourist trap. Things to know: there's no housekeeping during your stay unless you ask for it, and the amenities are a bit dated (like we had a dvd player and the gym has a circa 2009 life fitness all in one weight machine). But who cares? We had absolutely everything we need, including a nice big bathroom and the local flute player on Thursdays right off our patio. I highly recommend highlands for your visit to the Sedona area. It was absolutely a great option. I'll definitely be staying here if I'm in the area again. "

"We stayed here while making our way through Sedona, it’s a few minutes out the main area but I liked that It was, it was peaceful and quiet. Everything was clean, some things needed to be updated but not to the point where it ruined our time being there and nothing was broken. The grounds were clean. My son enjoyed the activities they have, the pool is a good size, they also have free laundry on site and a restaurant. I would definitely comeback to this hotel with my family. "

"The breakfast menu was innovative, fresh and excellent, constantly refreshed by cooks and servers. The hotel is fairly new, clean and attractive. There are many nice touches, such as outdoor seating with great views, bathrobes in the rooms, coffee and fresh cookies available at all hours, etc. Our only concern was that there seems to be inadequate cleaning and managerial staff. On the evening of our third night’s stay, we returned to our room at 5:00 PM, to find it not made up. We notified reception and they put in a call to housekeeping. It took another reminder before we were finally able to return to the room at 7:00. We encountered another guest who had the same problem. The receptionist was constantly apologetic and frustrated. She indicated “everyone has gone home.” She worked hard to help us, but there was no manager on duty and only one housekeeping staff available. "

"Excellent location (on Main St in the heart of old town Cottonwood); Shops & Restaurants outside your door, all very walkable; Inn has a Rustic/Funky vibe; Nice clean courtyard with benches, tables & chairs (we enjoyed with our takeout Breakfast and afternoon wine & appetizers); Renovated Room & Bathroom, both Very clean; Room was good sized (#212); Queen bed (not totally new, sunken on each side); Side shelf each side of bed; Nice fridge & closet area; Chair & Table; Bathroom & shower were small (but lots of towels, racks, hook, nice Pumps with hand soap, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, bodywash); Free Parking Lot in back, Free street parking in front; Nice helpful staff; Great value; We will definitely stay again next trip."
