“Nice to be right on the river and basically right in Ancient town. Unfortunately my room didn’t have much of a view. There was no daily room cleaning or additional water/tea. Breakfast was traditional.”

“Everything was amazing. From the very first interaction to the very last farewell. The host always responds to my questions promptly. Provided assistance with transportation to and from train station. Had welcome drink and snacks for us. Room was spotless and very comfortable, location was awesome as well. Situation very close to the river. Short walk to everything. Would definitely recommend to others.”

“Large modern room with comfortable bed and separate bathtub & shower. Quiet location. Staff do not speak English, which is typical even for Western branded hotels in China. My room smelled a bit like sulfur, strongest near the toilet, but common areas did not. Air conditioner did not work. When reported to front desk, the complaint was met with a shrug. A bit of a walk from the historic area, but a gated walkway serves as a shortcut. ”

“Hello, When we arrive to the area Taxi and us could not fine the Place and we call manny time no one is pick up the call. It leave us out of the desperation so we have to pay an extra to get a different hotel room. So I would not regiment this hotel.While we stay there we even talk a walk to fine the hotel, we still could not fine it!!!”

“First off, the address is wrong. It directs you to JOMO hotel in another town that is not Fenghuang. We got in late at night and had to spend an hour sorting this out with our Taxi driver’s help. The hotel is right next to a nightclub so the music is blasting in your room. Don’t expect to get any sleep because it’s so loud that it almost feels like you are sleeping in a nightclub. This is not a 3.5 star hotel. I’m not sure how it got this rating. This definitely feels like a 1 star motel....
