"The hotel is very nice. Staff is friendly. Room was very clean. Upgrades to hotel are nice. I was shocked at check in when i found out they were putting a 250.00 hold on my card. No, that is not a typo. Get ready. If you stay at The Bridges they put a 250.00 hold on your card until you check out. Unless you have another card you can use, as i am thankful that i did, you just lost 250.00 of your shopping, eating, or whatever you came to town to do. When i checked out i asked when the hold would come off. That depends on your bank, but then i was shocked once again when she told me she would have to go up to my room on the 3rd floor to check it before they release the hold. So i waited, not long, but i have never had to wait for them to check my room before I could leave. The stay was nice, room was clean, all was good, but the 250.00 hold is too much. I have stayed in more expensive hotels in Natchez and I didn't have a 250.00 hold put on my money like that. I used my points to get a great rate on the room. That made it so expensive to stay there that i felt like i had wasted them. "

"We checked in at almost 4pm. We were give 2 dirty rooms. Apparently they’re short staffed and don’t know the rooms were not clean. It was frustrating but the front desk staff was apologetic and pleasant. The hotel is fairly new. "
"Worst hotel stay ever. We only had one hand towel and one wash rag in our room. When I went down to the front desk to bath towels and more washrags I was told they ran out and there were none available! How is that possible!
Went down for breakfast the next morning at 8am and they were out of almost everything. Again how.
Staff said the issues were because they were booked full! How does that make sense? You know how many rooms you have and how many are booked so you should be prepared with enough towels for every room and enough food.
And then there was the fact the rooms were not cleaned well. Former guests hair in the shower, etc. There were old stains in the carpet.
The mustiness of the room had my allergies acting had my allergies acting up so much I couldn’t stand it - eyes watering, headache, etc.
Because of these issues we check out a day early - Saturday morning. The lady at the desk told me she would email me a copy of my receipt. Still haven’t received it. And I was charged for the full two night stay.
One thing I want to say positive is about the young man that was working the desk Friday night. He was really trying to do a good job dealing with a lot of guests issues. But they were things he couldn’t control and he was there by himself.
But overall the worst hotel experience of my life - and I used to travel 85% of the year on business. Just very poor management and ownership. "
"Loved everything about this place except the old carpet in my room - 152. It was sticky so couldn’t go barefoot. Denise, the manager, is so nice and professional. "
