“The property was recently acquired by new owners, and this information was not provided by Expedia. No sign on the building outside made navigation a little difficult. No water in the pool made for unhappy children. Onsite gym out of order. Room smelled musty, but the A/C worked. Mold in shower and on curtain. My family’s rooms had major issues, such as leaks, faulty key card readers, and broken A/C units. I was lucky. The breakfast was the best part of the stay, and the staff was very helpful...

When we got to the room, we noticed what seem to be dog hair on some of the counter tops and more on the window, dog food under the table and browned tags from clothes behind the door as if there for a while. The front desk clerk told us to always call the hotel direct when booking through a third party. We had checked the hotel's website and the River View rooms were available, so we booked. “Opponent arrival, I used the lobby restroom, which had flies and bugs in it. The furniture in the lobby was filthy and worn out. I arrived an hour early and they said they still had not cleaned the room yet so I said I would gladly wait. Upon a visual inspection of the room after they cleaned it, it had been hastily done. Sheets were not changed and everything reeked of some industrial cleaning fluid. Expedia did give me a $25 return of my money that I used on an alternate hotel that evening....
