"We recently stayed at the Hyatt Ziva and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. The entire property was spotless and beautifully maintained. Our room was comfortable and had everything we needed. Even though it rained on most days, in true Caribbean fashion it never lasted long, and we still enjoyed plenty of time at the beach and pool. The staff did a great job keeping everyone entertained despite the weather. The water park was fun, clean, and never crowded, and the resort overall felt peaceful during our stay (we traveled in the slower season). Although we didn’t use the gym this time, it’s one of the most impressive we’ve seen at any resort — spacious and well equipped. Every staff member was friendly and professional, but Mariokely by the pool, Sol from the kids club, Luis at the buffet meat station, and Gemelin at the buffet truly made our trip special with their kindness and attention. If I could suggest small improvements, I’d love to see fresh fruit mixes for drinks instead of concentrated ones, and maybe smaller batches of fried items at the buffet so they stay hot and crispy. Also, having the coconut station a few times a week — we missed it during our 5-day stay. Overall, we had an amazing time and can’t thank everyone enough. We’ll definitely be back. "I loved the resort, and the staff were very helpful and respectful. I didn't know there wasn't a beach and the ocean in front of us looked like a dirty river. We had no beach & ocean time. I didn't care for any of the food, but drinks were great."

"The property was nice and well decorated but not very clean. It had a lot of dust and one of the toilets was very dirty. And the floor had hair. When we leave the property we left everything very clean and organize. We even wash all the towels we used. When we arrived to the property the property manager Ms: Perla left us a paper that we had to sign with our credit card information. For any property damage. I was waiting to see her in person and meet her but she told me she was going to come two times and never arrived but we had a great communication throw the phone. After we left she send me a massage of 19 photos trying to charge me for supposedly stayed of towels that we never made, I found that not honest. When I text her before we left for her to please come so I can show her how great we were leaving the property and she was unable to come. For this reason I will never will rent with them no more or recommend to no one they try to get extra money charging for extra cleaning fees. Be careful if you rent this property they are not honest. "
