“I booked 2 rooms smoking room and the motel upgraded me 2 beautiful rooms. One of the rooms was spacious with Fire tv. My 2nd room was nice as well. That room was smaller and it had cable. The cable had gone out and I called the night manager. She fixed my cable with 10 minutes. Overall, the staff was great!”

“This hotel is historic, established in 1897. No tv or telephone which made it a welcome escape from big city life. This bed and breakfast was extremely cozy and quiet, the best sleep I've had in a long time. The staff was very friendly and very accommodating. A delicious, healthy breakfast of fruit, yogurt, granola,toast eggs and juice was top-notch! Thanks to the entire staff for our wonderful stay!”
“This was a last-minute booking for us, as the hotel is one of two close to our daughter's home and the original accommodations for our visit fell through. What a great find! The room was quite satisfactory, clean, well- maintained, convenient, and reasonably priced (considering the cost of hotels in the San Diego area). Staff were helpful, pleasant, and patient. We would stay again by choice should the opportunity arise. ”
“Nightly rate was comparable to the motel 6 and super 8 close by; however, what sets this place apart from those other motels is that as a single woman I actually felt safe here. I felt safe parking my car here and getting a good nights rest. The cleanliness is far better than I expected and aside from the location right off a busy street it’s peaceful and quiet.”
