We walked into the beautiful lobby and were greeted by Marta, who offered a veggie and cheese plate and a seat on the patio to unwind. We dropped off our bags and had a glass of wine to unwind from our drive up on the patio. The air was fresh and clean, and the views are amazing.

Because of staffing issues that seem to be everywhere in Julian there is no chef, so no dinner at the lodge. Also other things like outside BBQs have been eliminated. It is a beautiful property for a small event, but would take some coordination of outside vendors. It is our new favorite.

This was our first time to Julian and had a wonderful time. Orchard Hill is a wonderful place to stay. The grounds are beautiful and the staff incredible. We stayed in the Macintosh room and I loved that it had a fireplace. We can’t wait to go back.

The staff was so friendly and accommodating. We celebrated our 23rd wedding anniversary and all the staff went out of their way to celebrate us. The food was fantastic. This report is an oasis. So beautiful
