"Place is in a sorry condition, as soon as you hit the stairs you notice a weird stench, the building is old, I can hear the neighbors every time they walk around or flush the toilet. Not sure what was happening during my stay but there were doors being slammed repeatedly all afternoon. However, the place is equipped to accommodate cyclists and their bikes in the form of a dedicated secure storage space. For the price I would have expected the room to be better equipped and the place to be better...

"We turned up at the hotel for a 3nights extended bank holidays weekend just to find out that the hotel was privatised and fully booked with nowhere to sleep in town or in the neighbouring villages !!! Owner refused to speak to Hotels.com since apparently he has only signed a contract with Expedia (but didn’t acknowledge it was the same company!) and refused to speak English... Hotels.com was not able to sort it out not find anywhere else and we had to drive back home 3hrs in the other direction...

"Das Zimmer war sauber und gepflegt; Verpflegung hatten wir nicht gebucht. Der Standort ist ein kleiner Ort in der Nähe des Alesia Museums. Einziges Manko: niemand des Personals konnte englisch sprechen bzw. verstehen."

"As soon as the gate was opened we knew we had arrived at a special Chambre d'hote. The property was well maintained, welcoming hosts and very comfortable and ekegant rooms. We had a delightful evening meal with the hosts and another couple. We are on a cycle holiday and were thrilled to have our laundry done for us overnight. In the morning our bikes had even been turned to the direction we were going to travel."

"Les personnes qui dirigent la maison d’hôtes sont très accueillantes, et disponibles. Tout était beau et parfait. Très reposant, petit village petmedu au milieu des champs. Cette maison est typique. Le repas et le petit déjeuner étaient fait maison, avec les produits du jardins. C est avec plaisir que l on y retournera "
