Maswik Lodge - Inside the Park

"We loved our stay at the Maswik and would definitely stay here again! The property was well maintained, very clean and the room was very nice. Short walk to the rim and other hiking trails. The only downside was we were not a fan of the food. The food was not the best and the prices were high for less than average food at the cafeteria."

"Lodge is in the park which saves travel time to visit the views. It’s right next to a general store and restaurant, tavern, and breakfast cafe. There’s no free breakfast which as the biggest downside. Meals are about $20ish dollars which can add up for a large family. The lodge was very quiet and near animals like the elk and a very short walk to the shuttles. Very clean. It’s not fancy but the price was reasonable and close to everything."

La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Flagstaff

"Breakfast was great. Renovation of room furnishings was underway in our corridor. So hallways were cluttered. We found 2 screws on the floor in our room that had been left by the renovation workers. A dog in the next room constantly barked. We complained the first afternoon and were told that the staff would contact the owner. The barking resumed last night about 10 pm. We tried to notify the front desk/operator, but no one would answer our call. It was very difficult to sleep."

"This is such a cool property. From the moment we started checking in it was an amazing experience. They moved our room to be closer to the dog park and even gave our pup a dog toy for his stay there. They kept us informed of weather and the pool closings, which was very nice. A great looking property and very attentive very great staff. If I’m back in Sedona, I will stay here and stay here for a long time next time."

"From the moment we arrived, this was a great stay. We arrived way too early, but were able to get a room ready for us and our pets right away! On the 1st floor, no less, which, when you're bringing dogs, is a massive boon. The room was very clean and well decorated. Amazing bathroom and high-quality furniture. The entire area is nice and quiet with tons of local businesses nearby. Onsite laundry was a savior for us, as we'd been on the road over a week before arrival, so it was great to get some clothes cleaned while we were here. I highly recommend staying here. In fact, we plan to visit the Grand Canyon Village and southern rim again and plan to stay at this hotel again when we do! 10/10"

Hyatt Vacation Club at Pinon Pointe, Sedona

"We stayed for for 4 days, we enjoyed the location and the unit itself, we didn’t like the layout of the property. Communication with the staff needs improvement, they closed the pool due to weather which is understandable however we were not notified about it reopening despite messaging them about it. Trash was not picked up even after we were instructed to place it outside our door. We woke up to it tore up by something. Overall I’d rate them a 3/5. Sedona and surrounding area 5/5."
