I enjoyed walking between the Meteora monasteries, using the public bus to get up there from Kalambaka. Different monasteries open on different days & at different days. You will need more than one day to see them all.

"Everything was great, the staff were amazing, the restaurant, the room was adequate and the view was amazing, all the you need to explore Meteora. Only thing is I wish they would take care of the cats, meaning they would neuter them because they are too skinny and there were many of them, I loved feeding them but I wonder who takes care of them otherwise. Maybe it’s a problem for the town but they should try to put some funds toward their care. "
